PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
- To provide a service to the Filling department for administrative duties and stock control/stock management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Weekly cycle counts
- Delivery and receipt enquiry for schedule reservations.
- Investigating losses & gains.
- Reconciliation of Flushing’s in operations.
- Daily loss tracking.
- Stock reporting- integrity of stocks by location.
- Initiate stock controls as defined in audit standards.
- Develop and review stock control process on an ongoing basis.
- Develop and maintain inventory policy.
- Investigation of losses and gains.
- Monthly loss/gain analysis and reporting.
- Weekly inventory reports
- Open order reports.
- Past due reports.
- Monthly stock reporting in terms of volume movements.
- Monthly stock count co-ordination.
- Pre stock count meeting.
- Post stock count meeting.
- Develop and maintain process controls.
- Update and maintain work instructions and procedures.
- Closing and purging of schedules.
- Production Waste transactions.
- Raw materials transfers.
- Schedule reservations – packaging and consumables.
- SAP GR, GI, MB51, MD04 and MIGO and or other inventory system transaction.
- Booking in of lubes and greases.
- Data integrity clean up.
- Daily checks of WIP per production area.
- All system entries for mass balancing.
- Mass balance blends and fills.
- OEE data capturing.
- DG process control.
HSSE AND QUALITY ACCOUNTABILITY
- Understand the Blendcor HSSE Competency framework.
- Maintaining high standards of safe working procedures in operational areas.
- Encouraging and managing Potential incident reporting.
- Apply 5S Principles and housekeeping.
- INTERVENE and Report on Quality Potential Incidents/Incidents.
- Observe and Report on Continuous improvement in your area (SOC).
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric or equivalent competency level.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing and stock control environment.
- 1 year administration experience
- Good communication skills.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP).
- Knowledge and understanding of the respective production processes.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
