We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! As part of the hiring process, candidates will be required to complete a hands-on physical assessment to demonstrate their maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
- Inspect equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues to determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Complete routine repairs and maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Assist with construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects while maintaining safety compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and facilities.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Order and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and materials needed for repairs and maintenance activities.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- General knowledge of carpentry, repair, and facility maintenance practices.
- Welding knowledge and experience are helpful.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous maintenance, construction, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
- Technical certifications or vocational training are a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Must provide own basic maintenance tools.
- Yearly tool allowance available.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined or awkward spaces.
- Must be able to safely work at heights up to 25 feet indoors and up to 35 feet on rooftops while following all safety procedures.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions.
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
