Maintenance Planner x2
Job Purpose:
Focuses on organizing and scheduling maintenance activities to optimize equipment availability and performance. This role involves prioritizing maintenance tasks, coordinating resources, and ensuring that necessary materials and spare parts are available. Works closely with maintenance and production teams to develop preventive maintenance strategies and uses data analysis to enhance overall maintenance effectiveness. Maintenance planner organizes, schedules, and plans maintenance tasks to maximize equipment uptime and minimize disruptions. They translate maintenance strategies into actionable work packages, managing work orders, spare parts inventory, and labor resources using
Core Responsibilities:
- Work Order & CMMS Management: Create and manage maintenance work orders, maintaining accurate equipment history and task lists within the CMMS.
- Resource & Inventory Management: Estimate labor, material, and tool requirements, coordinate parts availability, and collaborate with procurement teams.
- Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, coordinating plant shutdowns and routine tasks to avoid production downtime.
- Liaison: Serve as a bridge between maintenance teams, production operators, and outside vendors to align maintenance goals with organizational productivity.
- Data Analysis & Compliance: Analyze maintenance metrics and equipment history to identify recurring breakdowns, reduce costs, and ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Education & Experience:
- At least Baccalaureate degree + 2 years educations in the university in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial qualification.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of facility or plant maintenance, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Proficiency in CMMS software is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills to mediate between competing departmental priorities.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
