Maintenance Man Jobs in Simon’s Town at The Grange Treatment Centre
Start Date: 1 April 2026
An international private inpatient treatment centre is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Man to join our team. You will be responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of multiple treatment buildings. Duties include general repairs, woodwork, furniture repairs, and cosmetic improvements such as painting, pool maintenance, as well as routine building servicing and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, including painting, plumbing, basic electrical work, and carpentry
- Attending weekly meetings in each clinic and addressing issues arising therefrom promptly
- Inspect buildings and equipment for potential issues
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialised repairs
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and update the task list
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and safe working practices
- Maintain and improve good housekeeping standards
- Adhere to all safety legislation
Requirements
- Matric
- Minimum 5 years maintenance experience
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license, own vehicle, and reliable transportation
- Experience in plumbing, painting, plastering, and carpentry is beneficial
- A building-related qualification or relevant practical training is beneficial

- Patient and discreet with a high level of confidentiality
- Methodical and solution-focused
- Able to multitask and work with limited supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends if required
