Role Description The Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of medical and facility equipment used in aesthetic and vision care services. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing equipment issues, executing maintenance and repair work, and documenting all activities in accordance with safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Engineer will implement preventive maintenance plans, coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to minimize downtime, and support improvements to equipment performance and facility infrastructure. The role also involves monitoring electrical systems, responding to urgent maintenance requests, and collaborating with external vendors when specialized technical support is needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance Engineering and Maintenance & Repair for medical and facility equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliability and safety of critical systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Maintenance for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults and supporting power-related systems.
- Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or clinical facility maintenance is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements for medical environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to document maintenance activities clearly and accurately.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience (Experience in the Aesthetic or Medical Devices field is highly preferred).
- Mobility: Owning a car is a major plus
