Job Summary:

The Main Banker/Cashier plays a dual role handling the central depository for all monies and providing exceptional customers service to our guest

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

· Customer Satisfaction is our top priority- which means going above and beyond to keep our customer happy.

· Issue Player Club cards to new and existing customers, and relay Player Club card uses and benefits to each guest. Enter guest information into database- accuracy is essential.

· Inform guest of all current and upcoming promotions- ensuring accurate up-to-date information.

· Maintain and monitor all funds entrusted to him/her on their assigned shift.

· Pay out electronic gaming vouchers to customers, redeeming coupons, gift certificates, and vouchers in accordance with established procedures.

· Performs check cashing and credit card advances in accordance with Quapaw Casino policy/procedure.

· Responsible for multiple transaction recording and SAR activity.

· Perform Jackpot Payouts and Hand Pays for the Slot Department.

· Responsible for performing inventory and servicing of Ticket Redemption Units and Coin Redemption Machine.

· Prepare, receive, and verify deposits and/or incoming monies to/from the Casino’s financial institution.

· Verify and document tips received for casino personnel.

· Identify and locate variances, research and document discrepancies. Reports any variances to the Cage Manager and Income Audit.

· Performs all duties within the guidelines of the Quapaw Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives

· Maintains a professional work environment with Managers and staff.

· Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

· Attend all necessary training meetings and assist in other projects as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon employment.

· High school diploma or its equivalent required.

· Previous experience cash handling and check cashing; basic math skills; data entry; read and interpret output from computer.

· Must be bondable and trustworthy.

· Must have a working knowledge or ability to possess a working knowledge of the Quapaw Casino Employee Handbook, gaming regulations, departmental internal controls, and proper reporting procedures.

· Must be competent and confident with handling very large sums of money.

· Must uphold a high degree of confidentiality at all times of all customer transactions or personnel issues.

· Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.

· Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

· Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.

· Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

· Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

· Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

· Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
