Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mag Repair Technician to join our growing automotive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, refurbishing, and refinishing alloy wheels while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Responsibilities
– Repair damaged alloy wheels, including curb rash, bends, cracks, and cosmetic damage.
– Straighten and refurbish mag wheels using the appropriate equipment.
– Prepare wheels for painting, powder coating, or diamond cutting.
– Perform welding repairs where required.
– Conduct quality inspections to ensure all repairs meet company standards.
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
– Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
– Previous experience in alloy wheel (mag) repair is essential.
– Knowledge of wheel straightening, welding, sanding, refinishing, and painting.
– Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Reliable, punctual, and professional.
– Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
