Luxury Guest Experience Manager job in Cape Town within the luxury experiential travel sector. This is a senior, on-site role owning all Cape Town-based guest logistics, departure operations and team leadership, delivering highly personalised experiences for a global clientele of discerning, high-net-worth travellers.

Our client operates at the absolute frontier of luxury travel. Their journeys are meticulously crafted, seamless and transformative, built for a globally mobile clientele who expect world-class service from the moment they arrive in Cape Town.

They are now looking for a Luxury Guest Experience Manager to lead all Cape Town-based operations, own the guest journey from arrival through to departure, and manage the Guest Experience team.

▌ The Role

In this role, you will own the full Cape Town guest experience operation — leading your team, managing complex logistics, and delivering a visible, high-touch presence with high-net-worth guests at every key moment of their journey.

– Lead and manage the Cape Town Guest Experience team, setting and maintaining high service standards

– Own all guest logistics from arrival through to departure — itineraries, transfers, schedules and special requests

– Maintain proactive, personalised communication with guests to anticipate needs and ensure a seamless pre-departure journey

– Oversee all transfer logistics, ensuring punctuality and professionalism across every guest movement in Cape Town

– Coordinate safety briefings and prepare the Guest Experience Centre to the highest standard for every departure

– Lead departure day operations — lounge, boarding and all communications between operations, aviation and guest services

– Build and leverage deep relationships with Cape Town hotels, restaurants and experience providers to curate tailored guest journeys

– Compile guest feedback and performance data, providing recommendations to continually improve service delivery

– Support off-season planning and the development of pre-departure experiences, gifting and operational processes

▌ Experience Required

– Minimum 10 years’ experience in luxury travel or high-end guest operations

– Hospitality or Tourism qualification preferred

– Highly organised, calm under pressure and a strong logistical thinker

– Confident, natural communicator with high-net-worth guests in live environments

– In-depth knowledge of Cape Town’s hotels, restaurants and experiences

– Established relationships within the local travel and hospitality sector

– Proven team leadership capability in a fast-paced, operational environment

– Adaptable, solutions-focused and able to operate with a high degree of independence
