Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Johannesburg for a Logistics Manager. The Logistics Manager will oversee and optimize logistics operations, including inventory control, supply chain coordination, and transportation management. Key responsibilities include managing procurement processes, liaising with customers and stakeholders, and ensuring the efficient delivery of materials. The Logistics Manager will also work closely with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management
- Experience in Inventory Management and Procurement
- Exceptional Customer Service skills and ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
- Proficient in utilizing logistics software and tools to track and optimize operations
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Familiarity with the chrome mining or export industry is a plus
