SUMMARY:
Looking for a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee transport and warehouse operations. Must have experience in logistics, transport, and warehouse management.
POSITION INFO:
Logistics Manager – Rustenburg NW
Report to: Director
Seniority Level: Mid Career (Above 6 yrs exp)
Type: Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily distribution and routing (local and long-haul)
- Oversee warehouse operations, stock control, and stock returns
- Supervise weighbridge processes and resolve discrepancies
- Manage fleet maintenance, fuel usage, and vehicle compliance
- Control logistics costs, including pallets and overtime
- Handle transport documentation, GRNs, and transporter invoices
- Oversee security operations and investigate stock losses
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Lead and manage warehouse and logistics staff
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, transport, and warehouse management
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with stock control and fleet management
- Ability to manage teams and meet deadlines
- Computer literate (Excel essential)
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
