Location: El Minya
Delta Galil Egypt is looking for an experienced and results-driven Logistics Assistant Manager with a strong background in the apparel industry to support and optimize end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials and finished goods while meeting customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Logistics Manager in overseeing daily inbound and outbound logistics operations
• Coordinate the transportation of raw materials, trims, and finished garments to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage shipping documentation, customs clearance, and export/import processes
• Monitor inventory movement and warehouse activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinate with production, planning, sourcing, and customer service teams to align logistics activities with production schedules
• Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics service providers
• Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
• Ensure compliance with company policies, international shipping regulations, and health and safety standards
• Prepare logistics reports and analyze KPIs to support operational performance and continuous improvement
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5–8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, with experience in the apparel or garment manufacturing industry being a must
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping documentation, customs regulations, and international freight operations
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good command of English
