ISS International is looking for a Logistic Specialist to be based in Pemba (Mozambique)
Mission
Assures carrying out necessary operations in respect of deadlines, custom clearance, transport and delivery of equipment and materials.
Tasks
- Follows up import, export, transit, despatch and transport custom papers.
- Streamlined customs clearance and shipping processes to streamline supply chain operations and minimize delays.
- Manage and coordinate shippers and/or despatchers.
- Cooperate in management of transport insurance contracts with companies.
- Manage Project Information System relating to materials handling, routinely updating relative data.
- Plan transport with Expediting & Inspection Officer.
- Ensure adherence to contractual services by suppliers and service providers, maintaining high service delivery standards.
- Uses a dedicated computerized program for these activities
