We’re looking for a dedicated and professional Dentist with experience or interest in Orthodontics to join our dynamic team on an ad hoc locum basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality general dental care, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and cleanings
- Perform or assist with orthodontic treatments and assessments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and ensure proper follow-ups
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry (BChD or equivalent)
- Current registration with the HPCSA
- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred
- Experience or strong interest in Orthodontics advantageous
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to step into a locum/ad hoc role
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
Working Hours:
- Weekdays: 09h00 – 17h00
- Weekends: 09h00 – 14h00
- Ad hoc locum scheduling (flexible availability required)
Remuneration:
- Market-related (to be discussed during the interview)
