Litho Estimator / Demand & Forecast Planner Jobs in Maitland at International Trimmings and Labels SA (Pty) Ltd
ITLSA is looking for a Litho Estimator for the Company’s offset and web paper businesses. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, have experience working with estimating programs such as Quick Easy and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies.
Due to the global context of internationalization, huge demand volatility, increasing shorter product lifecycle, new distribution channels and rising competition the forecast process and the flow management are becoming more and more strategic and are requiring multiple skills in statistics, IT solutions, marketing, planning and forecasting.
The position also includes demand/forecast planning to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models. The position may often include managing software, such as inventory analytics programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed accurate costings to customers, sales representatives and marketing departments.
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R20 000,00 – R24 000,00 per month
