Job Description
Our organization is looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook / Junior Chef to join our kitchen team on a 3 month fixed-term contract, starting 1 July 2026.
This position is suited to someone who is passionate about food, works well under pressure, takes pride in quality, and is punctual, honest and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to standards and recipes
- Assist with daily kitchen prep and service
- Maintain food quality, freshness and presentation
- Keep your section clean, organised and hygienic
- Follow food safety and kitchen procedures
- Work well with chefs, managers and the wider team
- Assist with stock rotation and minimising wastage
- Be available to work variable shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Requirements
- Previous kitchen, line cook or junior chef experience preferred
- Must be punctual, honest and reliable
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a busy kitchen environment
- Must take pride in food quality and cleanliness
- Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Must be available to start on 1 July 2026
- Must be able to travel to the Atlantic Seaboard
