An international consultancy company is seeking a Legal Specialist for its building construction, Land and Water Transport Infrastructure project located in East Africa – Rwanda.
Qualifications:
The Legal Expert shall hold a master’s degree in law, with specialization in areas such as Commercial Law, Contract Law, or International Business Law. Active membership in a recognized Bar Association or Law Society is mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of professional legal practice, preferably in advisory roles for large-scale projects, public sector institutions, or international organizations. Demonstrated experience in contract management, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessment for multi-stakeholder projects. Proven track record of advising on procurement processes, project financing agreements, and compliance with national and international legal frameworks. Experience working with or within project management firms, consultancy companies, or donor-funded projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with the legal environment in Rwanda and/or the East African region will be considered an asset.
Proficiency English language is a must.
