We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Learning & Development Officer to support the design, coordination, and continuous improvement of our training programs. This role is central to ensuring that all Devimpact trainings are relevant, practical, and delivered to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will combine strong instructional design skills with excellent coordination ability and a passion for delivering exceptional learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Design & Content Development

  • Develop and review course outlines, training manuals, and facilitator guides
  • Customize training programs to meet specific client needs
  • Integrate practical learning approaches including case studies, simulations, and exercises
  • Ensure all content aligns with industry best practices and market demand

2. Training Coordination & Delivery

  • Plan and coordinate training schedules (physical and virtual)
  • Liaise with facilitators to ensure readiness and quality delivery
  • Ensure training materials and logistics are well prepared
  • Support training delivery where necessary

3. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor training quality and participant experience
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback and evaluation reports
  • Recommend improvements to enhance course effectiveness and delivery

4. Research & Development

  • Conduct research to identify emerging training needs and trends
  • Support development of new courses
  • Contribute to technical proposals and training concept notes

5. Participant Experience & Engagement

  • Support the end-to-end participant journey (pre, during, and post training)
  • Ensure timely communication of training details and expectations
  • Contribute to post-training follow-up and impact tracking

6. Training Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain organized training records and materials
  • Prepare training reports (attendance, feedback, outcomes)
  • Support certificate generation, tracking, and issuance

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Statistics, Finance or a related field
  • Atleast 5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or instructional design
  • Certification in Training, Instructional Design, or L&D is an added advantage
  • Experience in a training or consulting firm is highly desirable
