Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and a strong understanding of installation techniques for various window types. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Window Installer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic and functional aspects of residential and commercial properties. Pay will be based on experience and knowledge.
Duties
- Install windows according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, measuring, and fitting windows.
- Fabricate components as needed to accommodate specific installation requirements.
- Work with drywall and cabinetry during the installation process when necessary.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in window installation or related construction fields.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in window installation.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and cabinet installation is a plus.
- Ability to fabricate components based on project needs.
- Strong understanding of reading schematics and blueprints.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds or more) as part of the job duties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A maintenance person background is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
