SUMMARY:
Are you a senior engineering professional with extensive experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects in heavy industrial environments? If you are confident managing engineering deliverables, integrating technical inputs, and ensuring projects are delivered to schedule, budget, and quality standards, this opportunity could be ideal.
POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
- Lead the coordination and integration of multidisciplinary engineering inputs to ensure alignment across all design deliverables
- Monitor, review, and manage engineering outputs to meet project timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements
- Support scope development, manage change control processes, and oversee vendor coordination and documentation integration
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards, execution strategies, project schedules, and work breakdown structures
- Provide technical leadership during construction and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with safety-in-design principles and SANS and international standards
Skills & Experience:
- 10 – 20 years’ post-graduate experience in a senior project engineering role within heavy industrial projects
- Demonstrated experience within mining or mineral processing environments
- Registered as an ECSA Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes within defined budgetary and scheduling constraints
Qualification:
- Minimum B.eng or Bsc in Mechanical Engineering
