In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering top-quality lawn care, landscape maintenance, and hardscape services that transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. Your expertise in landscape maintenance and other landscape maintenance work, machinery such as using ride-on and stand-on lawn mowers will be essential in creating and maintaining stunning landscapes. This position offers a fun work environment where your skills in working hard mowing lawns, trimming grass, edging grass along sidewalks and possibly, tree care, irrigation, and snow plowing will be put to great use—ensuring every project exceeds client expectations. Whether you’re pruning trees and shrubs or mowing lawns, your dedication will help shape the outdoor aesthetics of our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain healthy turf.
- Execute landscape maintenance duties such as planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control to enhance outdoor beauty.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for diverse landscapes.
- Assist with hardscape projects including patio installation, retaining walls, walkways, and other construction elements.
- Conduct tree trimming and tree care to promote healthy growth and safety around properties.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep driveways and pathways clear and safe.
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, excavators, and other landscaping equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance is beneficial.
- Experience with construction or hardscape projects demonstrates versatility in outdoor project execution.
- Ability to operate snow plows and perform winter weather maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling machinery and working with landscaping materials ensures a secure work environment. Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
