Role Description

This full-time, on-site role, based in Lagos, focuses on providing comprehensive laundry services. As a Laundry Washman / Laundry Operations Officer, you will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding garments while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Additional duties include operating laundry equipment, ensuring adherence to quality standards, providing excellent customer service, and addressing customer queries promptly and courteously.Remuneration:

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate may be assigned responsibilities across the following operational areas:

Dry Cleaning Specialist

Washing Machine Operations

Pressing and Ironing

Steam Press Operations

Spot Removal and Stain Treatment

Garment Finishing

Folding and Packaging

Quality Control and Inspection

Duties Include:

Operate laundry and dry-cleaning equipment safely and efficiently

Sort garments according to fabric type and treatment requirements

Perform stain removal and garment care procedures

Iron, steam, fold, and package finished garments professionally

Inspect garments to ensure high-quality finishing standards

Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work environment

Ensure proper handling of customers’ garments and valuables

Follow operational and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

Minimum of SSCE/OND/Bachelor qualification

Previous laundry or dry-cleaning experience is highly preferred

Knowledge of garment care techniques and fabric handling

Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment

Attention to detail and quality assurance mindset

Ability to work independently and within a team

Preferred Skills:

Experience in commercial laundry or hospitality laundry operations

Good time management skills

Professional appearance and good customer relations
