About Us
The Frame & Art Factory is one of South Africa’s leading custom framing and fine art printing companies. We produce premium framing, museum-quality fine art prints, canvas prints and large-format graphics for artists, photographers, interior designers, galleries and trade clients across Southern Africa.
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our growing print department.
The Role
This is a hands-on production role combining graphic design, pre-press and large-format printing. You will work with industry-leading Epson and Mimaki printers while preparing customer artwork for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare customer artwork for print
- Resize and optimise files for production
- Operate Epson Fine Art Printers
- Operate Mimaki Large Format Printers
- Colour check and basic colour correction
- Print on photographic papers, canvas and fine art papers
- Trim and finish printed work
- Package and label completed jobs
- Maintain organised digital file structures
- Assist with print production scheduling
- Perform daily printer maintenance and cleaning
- Ensure quality control before jobs leave the print department
- Assist sales staff with artwork queries where required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in graphic design or print production
- Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
- Adobe Illustrator experience
- Adobe InDesign advantageous
- Experience operating large-format printers preferred
- Knowledge of RIP software (Onyx or similar advantageous)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Mon – Thur | 09:00 – 16:45
Friday | 09:00 – 16:00
Saturday| 09:00 – 13:00

Pay: R8 000,00 – R10 000,00 per month
