Landscape Foreman / Hardscape Lead
About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Hardscape & Softscape Lead to join Freshwater Landscaping. This isn’t a "mow and blow" position. You will be responsible for executing high-end residential and commercial projects, from reading blueprints to final site restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardscape Construction: Lead the installation of pavers, natural stone, and retaining walls (segmental and boulder).
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret landscape designs and site plans to ensure accurate elevations and layout.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate Bobcat T66 / MT100 track loaders and Ditch Witch skids for excavation and material hauling.
- Softscape Installation: Manage the planting of nursery stock, including perennials (Astilbe, Liatris, etc.) and large-scale tree installs.
- Site Leadership: Coordinate a crew of 2–4 people, ensuring safety and high-quality craftsmanship on every job site.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of professional hardscape installation experience.
- Machine Skills: Proficiency with skid steers and mini-excavators is a must.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of base preparation, drainage, and pitch for long-lasting stone work.
- Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean record (experience towing trailers is a major plus).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various conditions and lift up to 80 lbs.

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
