Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple landscape projects from site preparation to final inspection, ensuring alignment with design specifications and client expectations.
- Coordinate with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, adjust as needed, and communicate progress with the Landscape Manager and Designers.
- Lead, train, and mentor field crews in landscaping, hardscaping, and plant installation practices.
- Schedule crew assignments and ensure efficient resource allocation based on project needs.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues on-site.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing questions and concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and equipment used on projects.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in landscape construction, preferably in a design-build setting.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant materials, and hardscape installation.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans and blueprints.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate landscaping equipment as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capacity to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
