Join our paving team as a Laborer/Operator, where you’ll play a vital role in constructing high-quality driveways and parking lots . Responsibilities
- Assist in daily physical work tasks such as raking, wheelbarrowing, shoveling. Organizing and maintaining tools and equipment,
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and paving equipment to prepare and move materials efficiently on work sites.
- Support paving operations by spreading asphalt or concrete according to project specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct routine cleaning of trucks, equipment and tools
- Follow all safety protocols and construction procedures to maintain a secure work environment
Skills
- A plus to have proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including excavators, loaders, paving equipment. Willing to train the right candidate
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining paving machinery and tools
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
