Penn Pallet is currently hiring for our 2nd and 3rd shift shifts. Offering a great starting rate $18.00 / hour with weekly production incentive. Job duties:
– Operator – assisting with cutting down raw material for various sized pallets. Completing visual inspection and checking quality in measurements before sending it to assembly.
– Assembly – placing material into machine to assemble frames according to customer order, completing quality checks.
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to follow written instructions according to the job order.
- Ability to lift, twist and bend for duration of shift
- Ability to read tape measure
- Ensures quality of product being produced
- Willing to work in varied temperatures
- Ability to work at a pace that is productive
Education & Experience
- Experience in wood industry helpful but not needed. Willingness to learn position
2nd shift – Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
3rd shift – Sunday – Friday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
