Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laboratory Assistant. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our laboratory operations and assisting our team of scientists and technicians in conducting various tests and experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare samples and specimens for testing according to established procedures – Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments – Record and organize test results and data accurately – Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods – Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the laboratory – Follow all safety protocols and procedures – Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors – Perform other duties as assigned by the laboratory manager
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required – Previous experience in a laboratory setting preferred – Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and procedures – Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments – Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately – Excellent organizational and time management skills – Ability to work independently and as part of a team – Good communication and interpersonal skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry – Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
