We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. If you have previous experience working in a busy kitchen and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
Assisting with general meal preparation.
Frying and preparing menu items according to kitchen standards.
Packing takeaway and delivery orders accurately.
Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organised kitchen.
Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment as required.
Assisting with stock rotation and general kitchen duties.
Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen is essential.
Experience with food preparation, vegetable preparation, frying, and takeaway packing.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Must have a valid South African ID or a valid work permit.
