Job Description: Key Account Manager (West Africa – Côte d'Ivoire Focus)

(I) Market Development & High-Value Client Acquisition in Côte d'Ivoire (Core Objective)

  1. Focus on key industries and core client segments in Côte d'Ivoire, systematically advance regional market development, deeply explore high-value clients and major project opportunities, and promote the large-scale adoption of XCMG products and solutions in the local market.
  2. Based on market characteristics and client structure in Côte d'Ivoire, conduct systematic analysis of key account (especially mining clients) demand trends, competitor strategies, and product dynamics. Identify gaps and pain points in XCMG’s key account development, formulate targeted client engagement and project promotion strategies, and drive the market transformation from “scattered sales” to “key account penetration.”

(II) Full Lifecycle Management of High-Value Clients

  1. As the owner of customer insight and relationship maintenance, implement full lifecycle management for high-value clients, covering client acquisition, demand identification, project follow-up, delivery coordination, and recurring business.
  2. Through executive-level relationship management, tiered key account management, and critical project execution, ensure end-to-end visibility, control, and traceability of customer needs, aligning company resources with client project plans and business objectives.

(III) LTC Process Collaboration

  1. As a collaborator in the Leads-to-Cash (LTC) process, continuously monitor and communicate market dynamics and customer needs internally, ensuring effective alignment of sales strategies, product solutions, and delivery plans.
  2. Organize solution managers to conduct technical exchanges and solution alignment with clients, translating customer requirements into actionable products and solutions.

(IV) Sales Team & Project Management Support

  1. Support sales team development and management according to regional business needs, enhancing the team’s capabilities in key account management and project-based sales.
  2. Participate in designing and implementing incentive programs for key account development, focusing on major clients and strategic projects in Côte d'Ivoire, to strengthen team commitment and execution efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, International Trade, Business Management, or related fields.
  2. Minimum 10 years of product sales experience, including key account sales, project-based sales, or solution sales.
  3. Familiarity with the Côte d'Ivoire or West African market environment, including local client structures, business practices, and industry characteristics is preferred.
  4. Experience in overseas sales of construction machinery, heavy equipment, or vehicles, with proven success in regional market breakthroughs or key account development is preferred.
  5. Proficient in English or French for professional communication and negotiation (French proficiency is preferred).
