We’re looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Key Account Manager who thrives on building strategic partnerships, winning new business and growing existing accounts.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established leader in the FMCG industry, supplying premium frozen fruit, vegetables and related products to South Africa’s leading food service and retail customers.

Key responsibilities:
- Growing and managing a portfolio of key customer accounts
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Building long-term relationships with major retail and food service customers
- Achieving ambitious sales, margin and growth targets
- Developing strategic account plans that deliver measurable results
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
- Collaborating with internal teams to maximise customer value through upselling and cross-selling
- Presenting products, attending trade exhibitions and representing the business professionally
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and account performance reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ successful Key Account Management experience
- Proven experience within the food service and/or retail industry
- An established network within the purchasing departments of major food service or retail customers
- A strong track record of achieving sales growth and exceeding targets
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong commercial and analytical ability
- A proactive, self-driven approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel across various regions
