Duties
- Greet guests with a positive attitude and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring correct food and beverage selections
- Prepare and serve high-quality breakfast items, beverages, and snacks following food safety standards and recipes
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without sacrificing quality
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly desirable, especially within café or retail environments
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales and change
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and serving standards in the food industry
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk quickly between stations, and lift moderate loads when necessary
