Job Title: Junior Sales Representative (Beer & Beverage Industry)Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and energetic Junior Sales Representative with experience in the alcohol/beverage industry to support the growth of our portfolio, with a strong focus on selling and building our newest imported beer brands. This role is suited to someone who is hands-on, target-driven, and eager to develop strong customer relationships in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Actively promote and sell the company’s range of imported beer brands
- Identify and open new accounts within retail, on-trade (bars, restaurants), and wholesale channels
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Achieve monthly sales targets, distribution targets, and call cycles
- Ensure strong product visibility and placement in-store and on-premise
Brand Building & Execution
- Drive awareness and trial of new imported beer brands in the market
- Execute promotions, tastings, and activations where required
- Ensure merchandising standards are maintained (fridges, displays, POS material)
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and trends
Customer Service & Account Management
- Manage orders, ensure correct pricing, and follow up on deliveries
- Resolve customer queries and maintain a high level of service
- Ensure consistent communication with customers and internal teams
Reporting & Administration
- Provide regular feedback on sales performance and market activity
- Maintain accurate records of calls, sales, and customer interactions
- Work closely with management to track progress against targets
Minimum Requirements
- 1–3 years’ sales experience in the alcohol / beverage industry (essential)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Existing relationships within retail or on-consumption channels (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory

Ideal Candidate Profile
A hungry, ambitious junior sales rep who understands the alcohol trade and is excited about building new, premium imported beer brands. The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys being on the road, and is motivated by targets and incentives.
Pay: R10 000,00 – R15 000,00 per month
