We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Junior Production Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the production team in manufacturing trailers/tankers, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high production standards.
Job Description:
- Reporting to the Production Manager.
- Assisting the Production Manager with administrative tasks.
- Ensuring that production is completed, and deadlines are met.
- Procuring and monitoring production equipment.
- Updating the Production Manager on the status of projects.
- Liaising and coordinating production with other departments.
- Preparing cost estimates for materials.
- Perform quality checks on materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support the production team with inventory management and material handling.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to company policies.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing and technical environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently under a Production Manager.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available and willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines when necessary.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport.
