Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in planning and deploying network infrastructure.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolving core network incidents.
- Develop and maintain up‑to‑date documentation for managing core network infrastructure.
- Communicate planned and unplanned network events to the NOC, including clear guidance on potential impact.
Required Skills:
- MTCNE certification
- Extensive layer 2 and 3 experience
- Strong Linux server experience
- Extensive experience with major switch and router OEMs, ie Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Mikrotik etc
- Familiarity with all FNOs
- Extensive experience troubleshooting high‑level network incidents
- Strong background in telecommunications technologies
- Familiar with major fibre operators
- Familiar with major data centre operators
- Experience building and maintaining carrier networks
