The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Technology Executive to join our team at Punch! This is a hands-on, build-focused role sat in the engine room of our marketing technology stack. You’ll spend your days configuring platforms, constructing campaigns, and making sure our digital touchpoints fire on all cylinders. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone tech-savvy who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to make systems work, and who wants to grow their career in the fast-moving world of marketing technology.

Your Role

Builds and configures our MarTech stack:

You’ll be hands-on with the build and day-to-day configuration of the tools that power our outbound. That includes HubSpot (CRM and reporting), email and LinkedIn automation tools, dialling software, and Google Workspace (email domains, plus Google Meet and Microsoft Teams for meeting scheduling). You’ll get our digital touchpoints set up correctly so every campaign runs smoothly from day one.

Completes the pre-campaign technical testing checklist for 100% of new campaigns:

Before any campaign goes live, you’ll work through our pre-campaign technical testing checklist to make sure every build is sound. That covers testing email sends and calendar invites, validating CRM workflows and properties in HubSpot and checking dialler setups in Orum. The bar is 100% checklist completion before launch, so issues get caught before they ever reach a prospect.

Creates standardised campaign dashboards within 24 hours of launch:

As soon as a campaign goes live, you’ll spin up a standardised dashboard in HubSpot so the team can see performance in one place. The standard is for every dashboard to be set up and accessible within 24 hours of launch, using a consistent template so reporting stays comparable across campaigns and clients.

Delivers on time and flags challenges early:

You’ll be accountable for completing 100% of your assigned tasks within agreed timelines, and just as importantly, for raising challenges early when something is at risk. Clear, proactive communication keeps onboarding and client delivery schedules on track and means the wider team can step in or re-plan before deadlines slip.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Some hands-on exposure to marketing technology tools. Experience with HubSpot would be ideal, but as this is a junior role, experience with similar CRMs, email automation, LinkedIn automation, or dialling platforms is more than welcome.
  • A genuinely tech-savvy mindset. You enjoy learning new platforms, figuring out how systems connect, and you’re comfortable working day-to-day on a variety of platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple builds, workflows, and data sources at once without losing track of the detail.
  • A keen eye for detail, especially when building intricate workflows, testing automations, and validating reporting in HubSpot.
  • A proactive, curious approach. You’re happy to dig into new settings, troubleshoot a stuck workflow, watch a tutorial, or experiment in a sandbox to figure something out.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to ask the right questions and share what you’re seeing in the data with the wider team.
  • An appetite to grow into a future MarTech specialist, using technology to drive results and continually improve marketing efficiency and customer engagement at Punch!

Pay: R200 000,00 – R320 000,00 per year
