Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate is required

• Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field will serve as preference.

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in an IT support, IT Technician, or similar role.

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and part of a team.

• Must be able to perform under pressure.

• Good judgement, confindentiality and accuracy.

• Excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to users (hardware, software, and network issues).

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

• Assist with network setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Support user account management and access control.

• Perform system updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity tasks.

• Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset records.

• Assist with IT projects and system upgrades as required.
