Internal Auditor – Boxer Retail Limited
Location: Head Office

Boxer Superstores is seeking a Junior Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team.
This entry-level role is suited to a candidate looking to gain practical experience in auditing, risk management, and internal controls within a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Purpose
To assist in providing independent assurance that Boxer’s risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively and efficiently.
Duties And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting head office audits
- Assist with store and distribution centre (DC) audits as required
- Assist in identifying and reporting risks
- Assist in investigations as required
- Build and maintain effective internal relationships
Key Duties
- Gather and analyse audit evidence
- Compile and finalise audit working papers
- Assist in preparing audit reports for submission
- Participate in audit-related meetings with management
- Conduct store/DC visits where required
- Communicate with stores regarding audit queries and issues
- Assist in documenting risks and controls
- Keep abreast of changes in audit practices, controls and regulations

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Auditing
- 0–1 years’ experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work under supervision and take accountability
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, email)
- Willingness to travel
- Driver’s licence advantageous
