Join Barrows as a Junior Graphic Designer!

Are you a creative storyteller with a sharp eye for layout and typography? Barrows is looking for a passionate Junior Graphic Designer to join our team and help us transform retail environments through high-impact visual communication.

In this role, you will be an "A-team" player, collaborating closely with Creative Directors and Product Designers to deliver designs that combine aesthetic integrity with commercial appeal.

What You’ll Do:

• Visual Communication: Create engaging 2D materials like posters, wobblers, shelf strips, and category banners that enhance the shopper experience.
• Conceptualisation: Work with Creative Leads to translate briefs into visual representations that align with brand goals.
• 3D Collaboration: Supply graphic assets and maps to Product Designers for application onto 3D retail units.
• Branding & Identity: Contribute to developing logos, color schemes, and key visuals to ensure consistent representation across all touchpoints.
• Print Production: Prepare design files with precision, ensuring correct resolution, bleed settings, and color profiles for high-quality printing.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design (or equivalent work experience).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Familiarity with After Effects or UX/UI is a major bonus.
• Creative Eye: Strong skills in typography and layout design to guide the viewer’s eye effectively.
• Mindset: A proactive self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and a high level of emotional intelligence.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to handle constructive feedback and tight deadlines.
