We’re Hiring: Junior Graphic Designer
Meridian Realty | Stellenbosch | Full-time, Office-based
3-month fixed-term contract, with review for possible further engagement
Meridian Realty is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our internal marketing team and help bring our brand to life across digital, print, social media, agent marketing, property campaigns, presentations, templates, and other creative collateral.
This role would suit someone who is creative, energetic, eager to learn, and excited by the opportunity to grow within a busy, brand-driven real estate environment.
As this is a full-time, office-based role, someone living in Stellenbosch or within comfortable commuting distance would be ideal.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to take a brief and turn it into professional, visually engaging creative work.
Key requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- 1–3 years’ graphic design experience, including internships or freelance work
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
- Working knowledge of Canva
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong portfolio demonstrating layout, branding, typography, and visual communication skills
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work methodically, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and grow creatively
- Experience with HTML, digital design principles, and/or Everlytic will be considered highly advantageous, as digital design and email marketing support form an important part of this role.
