JUNIOR FINANCIAL PRODUCT CONSULTANT

Are you a driven sales professional looking for your next challenge? Join our team at Woolworths Financial Services and play a key role in driving our business forward. We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Junior Financial Product Consultant to join us in-store.

About the Role:
Forget sitting behind a desk. This is a hands-on, target-driven sales role where you will be the face of Woolworths Financial Services inside our stores. Your mission is to actively engage with customers, identify their financial needs, and confidently sell our products to help them achieve their goals.What you’ll be doing (Your Sales Goals):

  • Hunt for Opportunities: Proactively engage with customers in the store to promote and sell Financial Services products, turning everyday shoppers into loyal financial services clients.
  • Build Relationships to Drive Sales: Partner with our store teams to integrate our sales activities into their daily routine. You’ll be the go-to expert, supporting them to help you both achieve sales targets.
  • Own Your Numbers: Take full accountability for your individual sales targets. You will manage your personal sales pipeline and consistently strive to exceed your performance goals.
  • Track & Report on Your Wins: Monitor your sales performance and present a weekly report to your Team Leader, detailing your successes, growth in the customer base, and results from in-store promotions.
  • Stay Sharp & Compliant: Ensure all your sales activities are compliant with company policies and industry regulations, while always looking for ways to improve our sales process.

  • A Natural Closer: You have a strong sales focus and a proven ability to influence decisions and close a deal.
  • A People Person: You can build rapport with anyone instantly, from store colleagues to new customers.
  • Self-Motivated & Driven: You thrive in a target-driven environment and are motivated by hitting and exceeding your goals.
  • Clear Communicator: You can explain complex products in a simple, easy-to-understand way and provide clear reports on your sales performance.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of sales and/or marketing experience is essential. (Retail or financial services experience is a plus!)
  • Education: Matric.
  • Compliance: It is a requirement that the incumbent meets the FAIS Fit & Proper requirements and remains Fit and Proper for the duration of their employment with WFS.
