Junior Electrician
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Junior Electrician to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to develop their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience while working on commercial and retail electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Install lighting, power outlets, distribution boards, cable trays, and related electrical infrastructure.
- Perform basic fault-finding, testing, and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on-site.
- Assist with site inspections, commissioning, and project handovers.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within project deadlines.
Minimum Requirements
- Electrical qualification (N2/N3, Trade Certificate, or equivalent qualification will be advantageous).
- 1–3 years of electrical installation or maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.
