Job Summary
Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for assigned categories to secure best total cost outcomes, ensure supply continuity and build high-performing supplier relationships that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Category strategy develop and execute category plans aligned to business goals, including demand forecasting market analysis and risk mitigation.
- Supplier Management identity, qualify, negotiate with and manage supplier scorecards
- Cost and contract management: Negotiate commercial terms, long-term contracts and framework agreements to deliver measurable cost savings and value.
- Procurement operations: Purchase order accuracy, lead time management and ontime delivery, collaborate with operations, warehouse and finance.
- Risk and compliance: Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing, and regulatory requirements; manage contingency plans
Skills and Competencies
- Commercial acumen and analytical mindset.
- Negotiation and influencing across senior stakeholders
- Supplier relationship management and contract drafting
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- 2-5 years experience in purchasing.
