Junior Bookkeeper – Manufacturing Co. in Capricorn Park
Location: Muizenberg, Cape Town

Pepper Tree Luxury Bath & Body, an established manufacturer based in Muizenberg, is looking for an experienced, dedicated, Jnr/Snr Bookkeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping functions
- Processing of supplier invoices, customer invoices, payments and receipts
- Assist with debtors and creditors reconciliations and credit application knowledge.
- Process Bank and Bank reconciliations
- Capture General Expenses, Petty Cash processing and general ledger journals
- Assist with financial reporting where needed example Age Analysis Payable Receivables, Sales Reports and Stock Take Reporting.
- Knowledge of Stock Take Procedures advantage.
- Strong Cashflow understanding and knowledge.
- Knowledge on Financial Management Reports is an advantage
- Knowledge on maintaining and updating of product costing list and price list into computer system.
- General finance and administrative duties,
- Processing of 3 Companies Basic Bookkeeping functions.
- Previous experience in Computerised Sage and Simple Pay Payroll Knowledge, Biweekly Wages and Monthly Salaries.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 -5 years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience (in Reconciliations of Debtors, Creditors and Bank Recons.
- Qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance will be advantageous
- Manufacturing experience or understanding is beneficial but not essential
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage One, desktop QuickBooks, Sage Cloud Payroll, Simple Pay payroll, and worked on Mesh360 is an advantage.
- Any AI Skills related to accounting work or project planning like Monday.com or Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and VAT
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
