We are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to support daily operations within our equipment hire business. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing store activities, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining equipment standards, and supporting staff performance.

- Assist in managing daily store operations
- oversee equipment hires, returns, and inspections
- Ensure equipment is maintained, serviced, and are ready for hire
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages and damages
- Support Store Manager in supervising staff
- Assist with staff scheduling and task delegation
- Ensure accurate daily cash-ups and banking procedures
- 5 years’ experience in tool hire, hardware, construction supply, or related industry
- Basic understanding of equipment (generators, compactors, drills, etc)
- Strong numerical and administrative skills
