The Operations Department has a Temporary vacancy for 1 x Junior Assessor in the Paarl Region to independently conduct Cold Chain Inspections or Services according to standard protocols, work instructions and procedures as prescribed through PPECB‘s legislative mandate.

JOB DISCRIPTION:

• Supervise container loading at various loading points
• Temperature monitoring in cold stores
• The minimum administrative tasks associated with job level
• Communicate with various clients on own specific tasks and outcome of decisions
• Build and maintain good relations with PPECB clients
• Continuous self-improvement in their area of responsibility according to the PPECB performance framework

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
• Experience in various cold chain functions, in particular container loading
• Experience in various cold chain functions related to the specified geographical area would be advantageous
• Computer Literate
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work independently and / or with minimum supervision
• Excellent customer service skills
• A valid code 08 driving license and own reliable vehicle is a requirement for doing the job
• Own mobile phone
