Salary: R8,500 – R12,000 per month, depending on capability
Leather Gallery is looking for three reliable, computer-competent people to join our Head Office team in Durban.
We are a growing South African furniture retail business with 18 stores, a strong online Shopify store, and sales channels including Takealot, Makro and Leroy Merlin. We are also building internal AI systems, automations and “vibe coding” workflows to improve how our business operates.
This is an entry-level role. Past work experience is not required. We are looking for people with a computer diploma, degree, certificate, or strong practical computer ability who are willing to learn fast.
What you will help with:
- Learning to build simple automations using AI coding tools
- Supporting Shopify, Cin7 and marketplace workflows
- Helping manage products on Takealot, Makro and Leroy Merlin
- Assisting with basic SEO, GEO and online product improvements
- Supporting internal business systems and basic IT issues
- Testing, checking and improving AI-generated work
- Helping the business become faster, smarter and more automated
Who we are looking for:

- Not afraid to solve problems
- Based in or near Durban
You do not need to be an experienced developer. We will train the right people. What matters most is that you are capable, honest, curious and willing to learn.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to start a career in AI-assisted coding, e-commerce operations, business automation and digital retail systems.
