Job Summary:

The IT Technical Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting a wide range of IT infrastructure and hardware across the organization. This includes user support, troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain devices including:
  • Personal Computers, Workstations, Laptops
  • Printers, Scanners, Barcode Printers, Card Printers
  • Cisco IP Phones, Access Points, Access Doors & Fingerprint Devices
  • Routers, Switches, NVR, Patch Panels, UPS systems
  • Copy Machines, Barcode Readers, HDMI and peripheral devices
  • Support the installation and cabling of UTP, Fiber Optic, and network infrastructure components.
  • Monitor LAN/WAN performance and perform routine maintenance.
  • Assist with video wall setups and maintenance.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment (e.g., paper rolls, USBs, chargers).
  • Participate in the implementation of new hardware or system upgrades.
  • Log and document all support requests and resolutions within the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external service providers when necessary.
  • Provide on-site support across multiple locations when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical support role or similar IT helpdesk position.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Network devices (Switches, Routers, Access Points)
  • Office hardware (Printers, Scanners, Copy Machines, laptop, PC)
  • Structured cabling and patch panel management
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, basic networking, and IP configuration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SLA-based support environments.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
