JOB DESCRIPTION
Romeiro’s Landscaping is hiring an Irrigation Technician to join our team. Candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, accuracy oriented person and must have complete knowledge of irrigation installation, troubleshooting, service & repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of complex irrigation system.
- Submit reports and records on conditions of irrigation systems.
- Responsible for the inventory of parts, supplies and equipment of irrigation systems.
- Conducts regular system inspections.
- Maintain irrigation systems including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to travel
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with irrigation service
- Knowledge in the field of irrigation, installation, maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to properly use safety practices.
- Ability to maintain records and submit reports on conditions of irrigation systems.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to interpret irrigation plans.
- Ability to inventory parts, supplies and equipment of irrigation systems.
- Ability to operate various pieces of maintenance equipment.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions and to complete work assignments correctly.
