Inventory & Logistics Officer

• B-Tech Engineering in Supply Chain Management or similar
• National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or similar
• N5 Certificate in Supply Chain Management or similar AND
• Valid driver’s license

Experience:

• BTech qualification coupled with 5 years related experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract and/or risk management OR
• National Diploma coupled with 6 year srelated experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract and/or risk management
• N5 coupled with 8 years related experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract and/or risk management
• Knowledge of PFMA and Supply Chain Management legislation

Knowledge:

• Comprehensive knowledge of general corporate business practices, government and supply chain regulations and principles and sub-contracting practices in either engineering or construction environments.
• Good understanding of procurement principles in the public sector
• Good team player with the ability to work and interact at senior levels.
• High levels of judgement and ethical standards.
• Must be able to and have experience in finances, people, project teams and contracts.
• Must be attentive to detail and accuracy.
• Competent in Microsoft applications
• Advanced knowledge of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) software or similar (advantageous)
