Our client is looking for a proactive, technically-minded Internal Sales Person to join their Pretoria branch. You will be the primary point of contact for our trade customers, managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to final delivery. This is a fast-paced role that blends customer service, technical problem-solving, and active sales growth.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in an electrical wholesale environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Sales & Quoting: Provide fast, accurate technical quotes via phone and email; proactively follow up on leads and cold-call prospects to expand our customer base.
- Order & Account Management: Process orders through our system, manage back-orders, and build lasting relationships with regular contractors to increase account spend.
- Technical Advisory: Offer expert advice on products like switch gear, lighting, and cable, and source non-stock items from external suppliers when needed.
- Branch & Team Support: Staff the trade counter for walk-in business, manage returns, and collaborate with Field Sales Reps to prepare tenders and schedule site visits.
